Implicit in all these efforts is one hidden assumption: <strong>that there is someone there who needs to be fixed<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But what if the \u201csomeone\u201d cannot be found?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During a deep experience of stillness, a revelation appeared\u2014not as a philosophy, but as a lived truth. In the vastness of infinite space, filled with peace, freedom, and presence, forgiveness was requested. The response was unexpected:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cTo forgive your sins, I have to see the sinner.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And yet, no sinner could be found.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There was no body.<br>No identity.<br>No entity.<br>Only space\u2014alive, silent, and whole.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This was not a poetic metaphor. It was a direct insight: <strong>in Truth, the sinner cannot exist<\/strong>. Truth itself is the graveyard of the sinner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why the Ego Cannot Enter Truth<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The \u201csinner,\u201d the \u201cactor,\u201d the \u201cme,\u201d or what we usually call the ego, does not disappear through effort or purification. It disappears because <strong>it cannot step into Truth<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Truth is not a moral state.<br>Truth is not an achievement.<br>Truth is not something you enter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Truth is what remains <strong>when the ego is no longer powered<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And this is where the understanding of <strong>Attention<\/strong> becomes essential.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Attention Is Not <em>With<\/em> You<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Attention <em>Is<\/em> the \u201cI\u201d<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Most people believe attention belongs to them:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>\u201cI am paying attention\u201d<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>\u201cMy attention is on this thought\u201d<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But the revelation was clear:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u201cThe attention is not with you.<br>The attention is the I.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Attention is not a tool of the self.<br>Attention <strong>is<\/strong> awareness itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What usually appears as \u201cme\u201d is actually <strong>attention fused with thought<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Real Composition of the Ego<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A common misunderstanding on the spiritual path is believing that the ego is made only of thoughts. This is incomplete.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The ego is not thought alone.<\/strong><br>Thoughts are harmless movements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The ego is created when:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Attention + Thought = Ego<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When attention gives itself to a thought, the thought becomes real, personal, and alive. Identity is born in that moment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Without attention, thoughts pass like clouds.<br>With attention, thoughts become \u201cme,\u201d \u201cmy story,\u201d \u201cmy fear,\u201d \u201cmy past,\u201d \u201cmy future.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Attention is the life force of the ego.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Clean Attention vs. Contaminated Attention<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the experience of Truth, something extraordinary happens:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Thoughts still exist<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Perceptions still occur<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The world continues<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But <strong>attention no longer sticks<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is what was revealed as <strong>Clean or Pure Attention<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Clean attention:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Does not merge with thought<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Does not create identity<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Does not resist or suppress<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Simply remains present<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There is a natural distance between attention and thought\u2014not separation by effort, but <strong>non-involvement<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When attention rests in itself, peace is not created.<br>Peace is revealed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Here Is Not a Place<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Many teachings speak about \u201cbeing here and now,\u201d but this \u201chere\u201d is often misunderstood as a location.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The revelation clarified this:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u201cThe here is not a geographical place, but infinite space.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The \u201chere\u201d is the open field of awareness in which everything appears:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>sensations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>thoughts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>emotions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>forms<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When attention rests <strong>as this space<\/strong>, rather than attaching to movements within it, an inner vastness opens naturally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is not withdrawal from life.<br>This is life without the burden of identity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Giving Back the Illusion<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A powerful message arose:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cGive back to Caesar what belongs to Caesar.<br>Give back the illusions to the world of illusions.<br>Give back the fraud to the world of the fraud.<br>And you will be free forever.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thoughts belong to the world of thought.<br>Stories belong to the world of stories.<br>The ego belongs to illusion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Freedom comes not by destroying them\u2014but by <strong>not giving them attention as identity<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Fool Builds His House on Sand<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When identity is built on thoughts, it is unstable by nature. Thoughts move. Change. Disappear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Whoever builds a self from thought must live in fear:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>fear of loss<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>fear of death<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>fear of change<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But when attention no longer builds a house in thought, there is nothing to protect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What remains is:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>peace without cause<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>joy without object<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>freedom without effort<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Attention Is the Soul<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In this seeing, the following became undeniable:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Attention is awareness<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Attention is spirit<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Attention is the source of life<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The quality of attention is the quality of the soul<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Truth is not something attention looks at.<br>Truth is <strong>the parent of all attention<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is why the Buddha did not describe God as an object or entity. Pure awareness needs no name. It is self-evident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Final Word<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The sinner was never forgiven\u2014<br>because the sinner was never found.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When attention rests in Truth, the ego has no ground to stand on.
