First the Music

Slowly, space begins to appear.
You start noticing what is happening, instead of being fully absorbed by it.
A small distance arises between you and your thoughts.
You see the tension. You feel the impact.
And you begin to realize: I am not only this—I am the one experiencing it.
Here, softness enters.
🌗 Feeling & allowing – the threshold
This is the turning point.
Where we often want to move away from what we feel,
here lies the invitation to stay.
Not to fix it.
Not to make it better.
But to allow it.
In this layer, something softens.
Control gives way to honesty.
And in that space, something opens.
🌕 Trust & being held – coming home to yourself
And then, sometimes very subtly, something shifts.
The breath deepens.
The body softens.
A sense of being held arises.
Not because everything is certain.
But because you can hold yourself through whatever comes.
This trust is not a belief.
It is an experience.
A quiet inner knowing that says:
I am here—and that is enough.
🔁 The spiral moves
This spiral is not a straight path upward.
We move.
We return.
We deepen.
Sometimes we find ourselves back in unrest.
Sometimes we revisit feeling.
And each time, there is the opportunity to return to trust.
Not by forcing it.
But by recognizing where you are.

Instead of searching for answers, gently ask yourself:
“Where am I right now?”
And perhaps even more importantly:
“What do I need here?”

Van onrust naar gedragen vertrouwen
Er zijn momenten in het leven waarop alles even stil lijkt te vallen.
Een uitslag, een onzekerheid, een periode waarin je lichaam of leven iets van je vraagt dat je niet kunt controleren.
In die momenten zoeken we vaak naar houvast.
Naar antwoorden. Naar zekerheid.
Maar wat als de weg niet vooruit ligt…
maar naar binnen?
🌑 Onrust – wanneer alles aanspringt
De eerste beweging is vaak die van onrust.
Gedachten versnellen. Scenario’s dienen zich aan. Je lichaam staat “aan”.
Je probeert grip te krijgen, controle te houden, iets te doen.
En toch voelt het alsof je wordt meegenomen in iets groters.
Dit is geen fout.
Dit is het begin van bewustwording.
🌘 Bewust worden – het moment van zien
Langzaam ontstaat er ruimte.
Je merkt wat er gebeurt, in plaats van er volledig in op te gaan.
Een kleine afstand tussen jou en je gedachten.
Je ziet de spanning. Je voelt de impact.
Maar je begint ook te beseffen: ik ben dit niet alleen, ik ervaar dit.
Hier ontstaat zachtheid.
🌗 Voelen & toelaten – de poort
Dit is het kantelpunt.
Waar we vaak geneigd zijn om weg te gaan van wat we voelen,
ligt hier juist de uitnodiging om te blijven.
Niet om het op te lossen.
Niet om het mooier te maken.
Maar om het toe te laten.
In deze laag verzacht iets.
Controle maakt plaats voor eerlijkheid.
En precies daar ontstaat ruimte.
🌕 Vertrouwen & dragen – thuiskomen in jezelf
En dan, soms heel subtiel, verandert er iets.
De adem zakt dieper.
Het lichaam ontspant.
Er komt een gevoel van gedragen worden.
Niet omdat alles zeker is.
Maar omdat jij het kunt dragen, wat er ook komt.
Dit vertrouwen is geen overtuiging.

Een stille, innerlijke rust die zegt:
ik ben hier, en dat is genoeg.

Deze spiraal is geen rechte weg omhoog.
We bewegen.
We keren terug.

Soms zijn we weer even in onrust.
Soms voelen we opnieuw.
En telkens opnieuw is er de mogelijkheid om terug te keren naar vertrouwen.
Niet door te forceren.
Maar door te herkennen waar je bent.
🌿 De enige vraag die ertoe doet
In plaats van zoeken naar antwoorden, kun je jezelf zacht afvragen:
“Waar ben ik nu?”
En misschien nog belangrijker:
“Wat heb ik hier nodig?”

Bewustwording is geen prestatie.
Het is een herinnering.
Een herinnering dat, zelfs in onzekerheid,
er iets in jou is dat stil blijft. Dat draagt. Dat weet.
En misschien…
is dat precies waar het licht begint.
